Personal Information that JC Law Group May Collect Online
JC Law Group collects personal information online, including names, postal and e-mail addresses, phone and facsimile numbers. Given that potential clients may fill out online evaluations to describe the potential client’s circumstances, information may be gathered concerning that person’s income, job, taxes, business interests, family members, homes, vehicles, personal property assets, debts and other personal information.
JC Law Group does not knowingly collect or maintain any personal information from minors under the age of 18. In addition, no part of our sites are designed with the purpose of attracting any person under age 18.
How JC Law Group Uses Personal Information Collected Online
Unless you otherwise consent, we will use your personal information only for the purpose for which it is submitted, such as to reply to your emails, schedule appointments for consultations and discuss your circumstances.
How Your Information May Be Shared
Information you provide to JC Law Group is not sold, shared, rented or disclosed to any other parties, with the following exceptions:
- Circumstances that led you to provide sensitive information may be used to discuss your factual or legal issue with other attorneys outside of JC Law Group for opinions and to develop a consensus, but this is done with every attempt to avoid disclosing any information that would identify you;
- Where release is required by law (for example, a subpoena) or regulation or is requested by a government agency;
- To appropriate persons, where your communication suggests possible harm to others.
Our Web sites are not set up to track, collect or distribute personal information not entered by visitors. Our site logs do generate certain kinds of non-identifying site usage data, such as the number of hits and visits to our sites. This information is used for internal purposes to provide better services to the public and may also be provided to others, but again, the statistics contain no personal information and cannot be used to gather such information.
A cookie is a small amount of data that is sent to your browser from a Web server and stored on your computer's hard drive. JC Law Group uses non-identifying cookies to provide easier site navigation and access to forms. You can still use JC Law Group sites if your browser is set to reject cookies.
