    I think that “collection proof” is the more accurate description. Anyone can be sued and end up with an adverse judgment, even if there is less than 1% chance that the judgment will be collected. If the judgment debtor has no assets against which to collect, he is collection proof at that point in time. As you point out, however, a judgment can come back to bite you year later when you are perhaps less insulated from collection.
